NagiosQL 3.0 development is still in progress while doing the first step and releasing our new website to the public. The new website layout is just the beginning of more changes to come.

NagiosQL Logo SmallAfter discussing the roadmap of future NagiosQL releases, we finally came to the conclusion to widen the project development more to the community. To strengthen future releases we are currently looking for new developer and web designer to join the project. There are several ideas about new features and enhancements that we are currently not able to achieve in time. Martin released some early screenshots of the upcoming new features like the Installer and the Domain Support.

"Sometimes there are a few ways to go, but it's always your decision to go your own way"

As many of you know, there is currently a web based administration tool developed by the Nagios core development team. The Nagios NDO database documentation already includes a chapter for the web adminstration structure. Currently there is nothing more, but the first steps were done. After reviewing the planned database layout, we came to the assumption that NagiosQL is far more complex and we should continue the development with more developers and fresh ideas. If you like to join us, we could need some helping hands. Please have a look at our "How to join the Project Team" website.
