ENABLE_INSTALLER does not exist! 1 Year, 5 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi,,

I was just about to launch the installer GUI, then I get the following message:

ENABLE_INSTALLER does not exist!
Please create an empty file called ENABLE_INSTALLER in the install directory to continue!

I tried to put an empty file in /var/www/html/nagiosql3 directory, but that did not help..

Hi,,
Little bit confusing here.. I extracted the nagiosql3 tarball under /var/www/html directory.
So the install directory is /var/www/html/nagiosql3 , right?

Should I touch a file called ENABLE_INSTALLER under this directory?

Hello Folks,

Apologies - not only am I a total Nagios, NagiosQL and Linux noob, I'm also retarded and am typing this with my tongue - no matter...

Like the OG poster, I am getting this same error - however I have an empty file in my /install/ directory already called 'ENABLE_INSTALLER'- however when trying to run /install/install.php I get the following:

ENABLE_INSTALLER ".gettext("does not exist, please create a file in the install directory to continue!")."\n"; echo "

php-gettext is also installed.

Any help much appreciated.

Hi,
you should never see php code in your browser. Please try downloading NagiosQL and the Patch again.

Cheers,
