Hi,
restart is not the correct word for this feature. NagiosQL is sending a "RELOAD" of all configuration files to the Nagios Commandfile. So, you need Nagios running and the correct path to your nagios command file.

it worked a few times at the beginning, but then suddenly this function was going down!?

is there anything else, what u can recommend me in this case?

Hi,
you should check first if Nagios is able to write to the command file by using the one of the functions like "Re-schedule the next check of this service" within Nagios itself?
If this is possible, please have a look at the file permissions of your nagios.cmd file. You need nagios and the webserver to read/write the file. For further debugging I recommend to open a "tail -f nagios.cmd" and press restart via NagiosQL.

Cheers,

hi,
right, checked commands in nagios like you described and have noticed that these commands have the same problem, puhh!

well then I checked the directory and file permissions and couldn't really find anything.

dont know whats going on there.

well I am now going to roll back to start and install my nagiosql one more time.

if I get the same problem I ll let u know.

thx so far!

cheers
