A fabulous add on to nagios. I seem to be up and running on my lab nagios build. I know need to resolve 2 last things.

Firstly alerts. dont seem to be working.
I Have the check period marked as 24x7
I have the alarm contact filled in and marked with notification details
I have also checked the contact that is also set to 24x7

secondly once all working I need to put this onto my new nagios server.
All the work so far is this exportable to my new server?

what is not working with the notifications?

You could write the configuration files and just copy them to your live server. Or you build a new domain and enable ftp support for that newly build domain.

or you could build a new nagiosql environment at your live nagios server and just copy the database from the testing to the production environment. there are so many ways
