Hi,
I found that all of my Alert-soft are sent to $ as dead.letter in /var/spool/nagios. I do receive the ones that labeled as Alert-hard to the right email account.

Is there a way to stop Nagios from sending the soft alerts? Or something is missing in my setup/configuration?

I am using Nagios 3.1.2 on a FreeBSD 7.0.

well, I found a way of fixing this problem through sendmail but not Nagios. In sendmail/aliase, I set all the $ to send to null.

However, if anyone has a solution through Nagios, I still want to know.
