[solved] Write service config file failes.. 8 Months, 4 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hi,

The issue is that I have copied a service (local host: HTTP) and assigned it to a new host. I fill in the part of the service that is not copied (Check, alarm & addon settings) & assign it a new host & save. OK from Nagiosql.

When I try to write the config file the file field says 'missing' & no file is written to the nagios service directory (which has been succsessfully configured in the domain) which is writable. I test this by siply deleting a file in it & execute write all config & it re-appears.

I have executed tail -f /var/log/apache2/error_log when I try to write but no HTTP error is registered.

In the logbook I delete all records & execute 'write config file' again. The log says 'Service file deleted: .cfg'. All other wites works!

Any idea on what is wrong?

Hi,

ISSUE SOLVED: The active checkbox was off.. Enabling it made nagiosql write the file.
