I have Nagios 2.1.4 installed on Server A and Nagios 3.0.6 installed on Server B. Currently we use Fruity on Server A however I want to use NagiosQL on my new Server B. My question is if I install NagiosQL 2.x on Server B so I can get my Nagios 3.0.6 up and running...will there be any problems upgrading to NagiosQL 3.0 when it is released? Thanks

Hi, there is an update routine available in NagiosQL 3.0.0 that makes it easy upgrading from NagiosQL 2.x to 3.0.0. However it might be better to wait for NagiosQL 3 release if you want to start a fresh Nagios 3 Installation because of the new features like template inheritance. If you just want to Upgrade from Nagios 2 to Nagios 3, NagiosQL 2.0 is your best choice for the moment. Cheers, Rouven
