NagiosQL - www.nagiosql.org NagiosQL is a web based administration tool for Nagios. It helps you to easily build a complex configuration with all options, manage and use them. NagiosQL is based on a webserver with PHP, MySQL and file access to the Nagios configuration files. http://www.nagiosql.org/component/content/frontpage.html Sat, 31 Jul 2010 00:17:57 +0000 Joomla! 1.5 - Open Source Content Management en-gb Forecast NagiosQL 3.1 http://www.nagiosql.org/component/content/article/1-latest-news/95-nagiosql-31-forecast.html http://www.nagiosql.org/component/content/article/1-latest-news/95-nagiosql-31-forecast.html Slow progress is better than no progress. Martin is currently working every week to add or redesign parts of the code for NagiosQL 3.1. Something that will be changed for sure is the permission system,  the complicated Key/Keyhole functions will be replaced by user and group permissions. You will be able to set group permissions to every object. Most of the time is currently spent on SSH/SCP functions that adds encrypted transfers to the distribution of configuration files. The pear module were are trying to use at the moment (makes it easier to install) seems to be very buggy though, but we are fighting to get something running until the release. Our well-known configuration file importer will be upgraded with the ability to import multiline configurations, which is working quite well at the moment. As a result to the community response, Martin has already implemented three popular wishes for NagiosQL 3.1: Nagios Exclude Flag, Apache Authentication, Icinga Support. There is more to come and much already implemented, but the NagiosQL 3.1 development stills needs time and hopefully in some weeks the first beta testers. We will let you know if we need your help to test the first pieces.

Server Maintenance http://www.nagiosql.org/component/content/article/1-latest-news/94-maintenance-server-move.html http://www.nagiosql.org/component/content/article/1-latest-news/94-maintenance-server-move.html Good day everyone, it became silent after the last release, but yes we are still here :) Martin is currently working on the 3.1.0 release which will support Icinga for sure and the NagiosQL Exclude Feature. There will be much more, but in this early stage of development I don't want to promise to much. Due to a provider change of our hosting sponsor cimt ag we will face some server outage. While DNS changes causing some trouble, I am also planning to migrate our systems to another Virtual Machine Architecture and another OS. So, there might be some troubles with the Website and the Demo System, but we will be back for sure.

As reported by Diramos from Brazil this typo affects two database installation files. The issue is affecting all users starting with NagiosQL 3.0.3 a fresh new installation or users upgrading from NagiosQL 2 to NagiosQL 3.0.3. The issue is NOT affecting users upgrading from 3.0.x releases! Those affected, please download the package again and restart the Installation/Upgrade Process!

 Sorry sorry sorry.

We recommend to upgrade to this release as soon as possible.
